Everything you need to know about the Zylvex engineering architecture, organized by domain. This data actively feeds our AI Command Center.
Company
What is Zylvex?
Zylvex is an engineering technology company developing the core operating architecture for the next generation of physical creation. We build platforms that unify CAD, simulation, and manufacturing through a central AI intelligence layer.
Why does Zylvex focus on offline-first infrastructure?
Many of the most important engineering challenges exist in secure, remote, or connectivity-constrained environments. By engineering an offline-first architecture, we ensure that critical manufacturing and design operations never depend on cloud latency or uptime.
ZylForge
Can ZylForge replace traditional CAD software?
ZylForge is not designed to replace CAD, but rather to act as the central intelligence layer above it. ZylForge coordinates constraint models and topological generation, and then exports standard formats (STEP, IGES) that interface cleanly with existing CAD ecosystems.
Related Technologies
What manufacturing processes does ZylForge optimize for?
ZylForge natively understands constraints for 5-axis CNC machining, additive manufacturing (FDM, SLA, DMLS), and sheet metal forming. It dynamically adjusts generated topologies based on the selected manufacturing profile.
AI Engineering
How is engineering AI different from general LLMs like ChatGPT?
General LLMs operate on statistical language probabilities, which can hallucinate. Zylvex Engineering AI uses a strict Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture grounded in physical constants, materials science, and verified documentation. If the physics are wrong, the AI will not generate it.
Students
Can students and universities use Zylvex platforms?
Yes. Education is central to our mission. The Harmonia XR platform specifically targets engineering education, allowing students to interact with complex digital twins in immersive environments.
Enterprise
Can companies deploy ZylForge completely on-premise?
Yes. Enterprise deployments offer a true air-gapped on-premise installation. The AI reasoning engine, knowledge graph, and generation pipeline can all run locally on enterprise-grade hardware without any external telemetry.
